Stoney, December 1923. Born 1874, died June 25, 1940, buried at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Son of James I. Grace and Elizabeth Daly, married Ella Barkley Sullivan 1912. Parishioner, Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Educated at Christian Brothers school and the High School of Charleston. Graduate of Georgetown University School of Law (1902), practiced with W. Turner Logan 1902-1932. Edited the Charleston American newspaper 1916-1917; president of Cooper River Bridge Company, which connected Charleston and Mount Pleasant in 1929; South Carolina Highway commissioner.
